Adam Steiner
CEO, SVG Investment Managers
Adam Steiner is CEO of SVG Investment Managers, which he was instrumental in establishing with Tony Dalwood in 2002. Prior to joining, he was a Director of UBS Global Asset Management where he was responsible for the management of over £1 billion of UK Smaller Companies equities and, previously, over £1.5 billion of Pan-Asian equities. Adam achieved his AIIMR qualification and has a degree in History from Bristol University.
Stuart Widdowson
Investment Manager, SVG Investment Managers
Stuart Widdowson joined SVG Investment Managers in 2006 and is an Investment Manager. Prior to joining, he spent five years working at HgCapital, latterly as an Associate Director where he worked on the origination, sourcing and deal execution of private equity investments. Previously Stuart was a strategy consultant advising private equity firms. He has a degree in Business Economics from Exeter University.
Jonathan Morgan
Director, SVG Investment Managers
Jonathan Morgan was appointed a director of SVG Investment Managers in July 2008. He is also a member of the board of Churchill China plc and Chairman of the SVG Asia Fund of Funds Advisory Committee. Jonathan was previously a member of the Board of Strategic Equity Capital plc and Managing Director of the private equity division of Prudential PLC.
Tony Dalwood
Chairman - Board, SVG Investment Managers
Tony Dalwood is Chairman of the Board of SVG Investment Managers (SVGIM) and sits on SVGIM's investment committees. He originally joined SVGIM in 2002 as Head of Public Equities. Prior to joining SVGIM, he was a Director at UBS Global Asset Management, where he was employed for seven years. While at UBS, he was a member of the UK Equity Investment Committee and responsible for managing over £1.5 billion of UK equities. He has an honours degree in Economics and Accounting from Bristol University and a degree in Management Studies from Cambridge University (Judge Institute). He is also a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals and AIIMR.John Hodson

John Hodson joined Singer & Friedlander Limited in 1969. He became a director in 1984 and in 1993 he was appointed chief executive of Singer & Friedlander Group PLC. From 2000 to 2003 he served both as chairman and chief executive of the Group. He is a director of Domino's UK & IRL plc.
Sir Clive Thompson

Sir Clive Thompson served as chairman of Rentokil Initial plc between 2002 and 2004, having been chief executive for 20 years to 2002. He is a former president of the CBI, member of the Committee on Corporate Governance and deputy chairman of the Financial Reporting Council. He is also a former Director of J Sainsbury plc, Wellcome PLC, Seeboard plc, Caradon PLC and BAT Industries plc.
Ian Dighé
Non-executive Director
Ian Dighé joined the board as a Non-executive Director in November 2009. Ian was a founder and deputy chairman of Bridgewell Group plc. After successfully selling Bridgewell in 2007 he formed Matterley whose interests were acquired by The Charles Stanley Group PLC in September 2009. He is a director of a number of private companies and is also a non-executive director of Gartmore Growth Opportunities plc.
John Cornish

John Cornish was formerly an audit partner at Deloitte LLP where he led the firm's investment trust team until his retirement in 2004. He is currently chairman of Framlington Innovative Growth Trust PLC and a director of RCM Technology Trust PLC, RIT Capital Partners plc and Henderson EuroTrust plc.
Michael Phillips
Non-executive Director
Michael Phillips founded iimia Investment Group plc in 2001 (which became Midas Capital plc in 2008) and in a period of seven years built it into a group with funds under management and advice of over £2.8 billion. As chief executive he was responsible for the day to day operations of the Group until September 2008 when he left to pursue other interests. He is a director of iimia Investment Trust plc and a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute.
Alan MacKay
Alan is the Chief Executive of Hermes GPE and chairs its Investment Committee. He has been an active investor and manager in private equity for almost 25 years, both as GP and LP, across Europe, North America, and Asia. Prior to joining Hermes GPE, Alan was a Partner at 3i, initially responsible for Scotland and Ireland before being appointed to the board of 3i plc in 1993. He was then successively a partner responsible for continental Europe, senior partner Buyouts, and then global lead partner Healthcare. He has been NX Chairman of a number of international private equity firms including SFK Finance Oy, Atle Industri AB, and 3TS Capital Partners SA. Alan holds an LLB in European Law an MSc in Enterprise Economics.

Stewart Binnie
Stewart Binnie has been involved in UK publishing, retail and financial services businesses since 1976. He is presently chairman of Aurora Fashions, whose retail brands include Karen Millen, Coast and Oasis, is a member of the Investment Committee of the Schroder Private Equity FoF business and has advised Schroders plc on private equity related issues since 2005. His former activities include those of Partner of Permira (formerly Schroder Ventures) and Schroder Finance Partners and Chairman of Helicon Publishing Group, Elddis and Cassell plc.
